Hastings Library Associates is a support group for the the Hastings Branch Library of the Pasadena Public Library. We are affliated with the Friends of the Pasadena Public Library. Our mission is to raise funds for services, materials and furnishings for Hastings Branch as well as providing feedback to Library staff.
We meet monthly on the 3rd Wednesday of the month. Meetings start at 6:30 and typically end by 7:30.
Our next meeting will be October 20, 2010.

We started our fall a book raffle on the evening of September 15. Stop by the branch from September 15 to October 20 for chance to win a great prize! There are baskets of cookbooks, mysteries, teen reading, and many others.

Hastings Associates purchased a second "Cozy Book" for the children's area of the Hastings Branch Library in June. Check out both "books" the next time you are in the Library. Special thanks to Pasadena Sunrise Rotary Foundation which underwrote over half the cost of the new "book". The remainder of the cost was raised from our book raffles.
Our next project will be to buy new furniture for the adult reading corner.
