Hastings Library Associates

The Hastings Branch was remodeled in early 2007. The original cork floors were restored, new book displays were added, new computer workstations were added, a new printer and automatic checkout stand were added among the other improvements.

 

The branch held a Reopening party on June 30, 2007. Dignataries in attendance included District 4 Councilmember Steve Haderlein, City Manager Cynthia Kurtz, and Library Director Jan Sanders.  See the slide show at right for pictures of the event.

 

The Hastings Associates donated a Big Cozy Book chair for the childrens' area and bestsellers for door prizes.
